Live size curry chicken

Recently, I did this live size curry chicken again because he opened another shop in Raffles city shopping mall. I do my best for all live size food model order  because all my fake food model all done by hands, no mold.so even they want 2 pieces at the same time , I still have to make one by one.

Live Size Cupcake

These colourful live /real size cup cakes are made upon request recently.  She wants her cupcakes in simple design and with colourful colour .

Freshly made by Kin's Bakery , these cupcakes are not for eating, they are made of CLAY.

These are fake cup cake , for display only. 

It is not easy to make these live size cup cake especially the fake whipped cream on top...

Clay Food Replicate: Fake King Fish & Curry Chicken

These are done by request, live size fake fried fish with clay broccoli and clay carrots and curry chicken.  As you can see they are not the same because I made them one by one without using any molds.

I like this type of fish as they are boneless , easy to eat but not these two because these 2 fish are fake .

Compare to the first one I made before, they are similar to each other but different as they are shaped out pieces by pieces by hand so it is impossible to get back the same one.

Live size Fish Head

The fish head showed below is a live size CLAY food model. I made it recently . All my live size clay food models are make without using any molds/(moulds), I shape it and make them one by one. 

The difficulties of making this clay fish head is the colour. If I got the wrong colour of the fish , I have to redo it again.

Clay Food Model: Sliced Salmon

This is a plate of raw salmon fish slices. Cannot be eaten, it is made of Clay. I spent quite some time to finish it as I made them layer by layer in order to get the white lines in between. You can draw the lines with white pen but it will look nicer and real if you make the line in between .

I love the white lines, it looks really good when you make them one by one instead of drawing them.

I got the fake ice from my friend, it looks very real and nice with the my clay salmon slices and veggie.

The fake clay rice, is made one by one and stick them together.

Custom made Live size Curry Chicken

Good morning everyone! Today is a new starting of a month.  I have been quite busy for the last 2 weeks but I enjoyed my work .

I have just finished my custom made order : a live size curry chicken.  It is the same design I did before as the client is the same person and he is opening another new store. ( the real curry chicken he sells is really delicious, I love curry since I am a young girl)

This is my live size handmade clay curry chicken with clay potato. 

My Live size curry chicken is made of clay and I do not use any mold for that. I use both hands  shaped out the shape I want and paint on it. 

My handmade food mock up is different from those you see in the Japanese's  restaurants , the materials is different , so the outlook is different too.  Handmade is totally energy flows  out from your both hands, is different from machine (mold)  made

My handmade clay food models may not perfectly (100%) look the same as the real item as I do not use any mold, but to me, it is definitely looks alive compare to the machine made (factory) one.

 Handmade to me,  is  come from a place of  your energy , warmth, attention and love .

Clay Food Replicate : Siew Mai 烧卖 vs 小笼包 (Dumplings)

The pictures below showed recently my handmade clay food model/ replicates in real size,  小笼包 (Dumplings) and Siew Mai 烧卖

Instead of making dumpling or siew mai, you can also try to make some simple bun to fill up the steamer.

This is also a real size clay food model :  Siew Mai 烧卖, It is one of the most popular dim sum item but  I do not really like it as it is too oily and due to allergy  ,I do not eat prawns.

I think I can make the siew mai more lively next time because after making these fake  Siew Mai, all types of 烧卖 keep coming up in  my mind.

Clay Food Replicate : 小笼包 (Dumplings)

I have made these real size clay food models:  dumplings (小笼包 ) last week for a custom order. As the pictures she showed it to me is quite different from the type I used to eat. The finishing part is a bit difficult as I need to fold the the bun carefully and neatly or not I need to redo the bun all over again.

I am very satisfied with these小笼包 . I love it!

        My handmade clay 小笼包 (dumpling) in real/live size.  I do not know how to make a real bun but I
        think I can help them to fold the bun/bao.  :D  Inside the small hole is the fake soup .

The streamer is really big, but I only requested to make 3 fake dumplings models.  It will look very

nice with many baos or dumplings inside of the container.

Fake Drink : Green Tea

Do you like Green Tea? My whole family love green tea so much.  I have made this fake green tea for someone. Hope you like it too!

       My handmade fake drink: Chinese Tea.  These  fake green tea / Chinese tea are not real , they are for                                                              
        display only. These are hardened liquid.

          This chinese style tea cup is suitable for tea house while the bigger one you can find some big
           restaurants using it to serve tea.
          The tea cup on the left hand side is normal tea as the colour is brown, on the right is the green tea.

       Please note: these are not for drink as they are all fake , for display only.

Clay Food Model/ Replicas - Fried Black Pomfret

This is custom made order  : Fried Black Pomfret (Live size).  I have made 2 of them. can you tell the differences?
People always say that the first piece of art work is always the best, but sometime the 2nd or 3rd one can also be as good as the first piece or even better. Can you tell which one  is the first piece of the model?

           My Handmade clay black pom-fret . This is real size and is quite difficult to get the right shape 

of the fish. I used clay to make it.
