Miniature Garden of Growth

I have made this " A Garden of Growth " ( a plam tree on hand)  graphic design into miniature 3D figurines for Engineer Training Institute recently. Within a limited short time, I really try my best to finish it on time.

This hand looks a bit flat but they will use something to support the hand so it will show a curve look like this.

Miniature Scale 1:12

The size of a miniature , relative to what it is a replica of , is known as the scale of the figure.

I make different sizes (different scale) of miniature food.

When making miniature items for a doll house, a scale of 1:12 is usually used.      Do I usually use 1: 12 scale for my handmade miniature food? the answer is NO.  I make different sizes for my miniature food & figurines.

The miniature food on the right has a smaller scale  than the one on the left.

This is my handmade live size (1:1 scale) clay food model

This is about live size scale

This is 1:12 scale

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
1:12 scale is a traditional scale (ratio) for models and miniatures, in which 12 units (such as inches or centimeters) on the original is represented by one unit on the model. Depending on application, the scale is also called one-inch scale (since 1 inch equals 1 foot), or six-inch scale (since 6 inches equals 6 feet).
The scale is popular for dollhouses, especially those aimed at adult collectors. It is also used for model live steamrailroads, and rather rarely, for high-end die-cast model and radio-controlled cars.

Miniature 凤爪(chicken feet) vs 蛋塔 (egg tart)

Do you like 凤爪  chicken feet? Everyone eat 凤爪 in my family except me. I dare not eat them . But I still can custom made them as every time I take a very close look at them when my family order them at a dim sum restaurant .

My handmade miniature clay 凤爪 &  蛋塔

As the colour (the sauce) is dark so the mini chicken fee (less than 5 cm)  cannot really seen so clearly.

They look cute inside a steamer, usually I place them on a small plate

This 凤爪  is very small,  the plate's size is about a 20 cent coin

Miniature 年糕

As requested I made this miniature 年糕 .We usually eat  年糕 (Nian Gao) also sometimes known as year cake or Chinese New year's cake during Chinese New Year. they are so called because we eat them during that time.
It is very delicious when cooked with eggs. (Fried them with eggs)

These 2 年糕 cannot be eaten as they are made of Clay.
