I like cake , I like desserts especially sweet desserts, because of this I like to handmade miniature cake using clay, not for eating , just for looking. Below shown some of my handcrafted miniature cakes and tarts.

Miniature Macaroons

Macaroon has very vibrant colour that's why make them so attractive  and all the colours are so beautiful.  So when making a miniature macaroon , choose the right colours is very important. Try to make at least 3 pieces in different colours , they look really good when putting  3 or 6 pieces together.

they look very sweet in pink, light blue, and light green.

This tiny macaroon is really mini,  they look cute in this size.  You can  make them in a bigger size.

You can also use the  miniature macaroon  to make them into jewellery like rings, ear-rings etc.

don't forget to make a  mini box for your miniature macaroons too.

A piece of Cake

 I made this piece of miniature sliced cake recently , it is actually cut out from the whole miniature cake I made too.  It looks so tasty and delicious to me, I like to share with you. I love cakes, cakes . cakes!!!

This a handmade miniature cake with fruits and cream filling inside. You can see the cream, i love to have lots of cream on my cake and it is not healthy to eat so much cream, but this one is just for looking.  

After cutting the piece of cut remember to make the texture. 

From the top view, make a ribbon and fake chocolate sticks to decorate the miniature fake cake.

No matter how full you are, there is always space for desserts....... how about my cake? Just for looking only.

I love cakes, especially chocolate cakes, I love the real cake and also the  fake one .  I enjoy making different types of miniature fake cakes. Your mood will change good/better  when you see all the miniature cakes that you have made. Below showed some of the cakes that I love.

I love cakes, no matter real or fake , big or mini.. but remember to use bright colours to make your cake.

Miniature Rainbow Cake

Rainbow House is the name of my shop but most of the time people know me as Kin.  I have made this miniature rainbow layer cake on request.

I use my handmade miniature flowers to decorate for this rainbow layer cake.

The same miniature rainbow layer cake but I use mini macarons  (difficult to make as it is too small) to decorate

Let's "eat"  the mini layer cake with your eyes only!

Miniature Sliced Cake

Never never get enough of cake , I mean miniature cakes. Once I started to make one piece of miniature cake, I cannot stop to make the 2nd, 3rd until all my clay is dried or used out.

Make a nice miniature gift box for all my handmade miniature sliced cakes. Yummy.....

I wanted to make 2 miniature sliced cakes and end up 8 pieces.

Miniature cake needs a lot of icing and topping, so if you do not prepare /pre-made them, your cake will look very simple.

I like to make different design of miniature sliced cake, it really fun!

Handmade a nice miniature gift box also needs time, you can see this miniature box is not so nice as I did it very fast , I want to put the cakes inside to see the effect, the actual length and height of the box.

Miniature Cakes

Do you know by watching all those miniature colorful cakes are son tempting! these mini cake  in the showcase can change you mood.  If you feel moody or unhappy just go to a cake shop and take a look at those beautiful cakes , your mood changed! (Don't stand too long or they will ask you to buy one)

I always stand for a while when I pass by a cake shop, to get some ideas and also thinking what types of cake should I want  next time for birthday.

Making miniature cakes consume a lot of time. because  you need to prepare a lot of toppings, icing and design etc.   I have finished all these cakes in few hours time. Hope you like it!

                I like my miniature cake model to be simple and neat . Prepare  all the toppings, miniature  

                     fruits( if you want a miniature fruit cake) fake peanuts etc before starting the cake.

 
                     The miniature wooden show case match the miniature cake models very well.

                             I bought the miniature showcase in Thailand few years ago.
