Miniature chinese tea set
I did this chinese tea set few days ago. This is the first time I feel a bit difficult in making those super mini cups because the cups keep on dropping onto the ground and I can't find where they are! so I had to redo again and it drops again and I redo again..........At last I have made 2 sets and a super small mini tea pot. So....cute! I love it! But I am not quite satisfy with those cups so I might redo them again if I have time.

Miniature cream crackers
Biscuit is one of my favourite miniature items I like to make because it is very easy to make .But to make it looks real you need to have the right colour and to let it look delicious, add some toppings onto it. Here are some simple steps that you can follow.
The high-lighting of the biscuit is the technic that I teach all my students during their first lesson. And this is a very important step.

miniature rice making
There are 3 types of chicken rice here right on the top is done by one of my students .
There are many ways to make rice. The most simple and easy way is poke holes onto the clay, I teach children to make rice in this way. But for adults I think you can do better , cut the clay into small tiny dots and join them.
In order to make the rice look real, use the most complicated method: roll one by one, than join them together , like the big picture shown above left.

I used to use paper clay to make all my doll figurines as it is easy to knead and form the shape you want but 2 years ago I started to use Japanese clay . The only different is that the texture or the feel of the dolls look different. Both look good but I prefer Japanese clay figurines as the texture look more like rubber and is smoothish than paper clay.
In my wawa series , all my wawas are made with Japanese clay as they look perfect in these type of clay. Hope you like it .
