Miniature local Kueh

These are my handmade miniature local kueh: min jiang kueh and chwee kueh, for a breakfast and tea break item usually found in hawker centers.   No mold using, all handmade using air dry clay
The filling inside the min jiang kueh are the peanut, coconut and red bean paste.

Local Kueh / Dim Sum/Local Snack

These miniature dim sum and nonya kueh and local snack are not for eating, they are fake food. I use air dry clay to craft them . I love making miniature food specially colourful kuehs and others, I handmade them one by one. It is great fun when doing these miniature art .

Mini/Live Size dao sa piah 豆沙饼

Do you like  dao sa piah 豆沙饼?  Recently due to request I handmade these dao sa piah but not real one , is in miniature and live size fake  dao sa piah 豆沙饼. For the half cut live size dao sa piah  豆沙饼, you can see some red paste inside as I used red beans for the filling,

On top of the dao sa piah 豆沙饼 is Chinese character  xiang 香 meaning fragrant

Miniature Yam Paste & Mango Sago vs Teochew style Moon Cake

Yam paste with ginkgo  is my mum's favourite dessert and most of the Teochew love yam paste too. I myself prefer the mango sago because it is not that sweet compare to the yam paste.  I made these 2 local desserts recently.

Will these colour wafer disc bring back your childhood memories?  I myself do not really like to eat this snack but they do bring back my memories ..... those were the days!

I done these by a custom order, very colourful and mini, they are about 1 cm in diameter.  Look goods! I love it...
