Miniature BreadTalk

Making miniature bread is one of my favourite items.  I do not need any bread recipes and I can just shape them out instantly. If you want your miniature items to look real and more defined , time and hard work are needed.  I usually spend double of my time to make a more defined miniature item.

Learn how to make miniature bread in intermediate level.

I made the miniature basket to fit all these miniature clay breads.

This mini bread bun is  cute

This cute little croissant bread is made of clay and I spend quite some time to make the skin
surface to look rough and burnt.

Mini Tarts

I like this mini tarts that I had  just made but it had already been sold. I will try to make some when I got time.

The mini plate is about the size of a 20 cent coin.  Look closely at the tarts, the line is
a bit different. Most of my students can do the straight one but only few can make the other.

You can make many different types of miniature clay tarts and put them inside a mini handmade
              box

The miniature clay bread  is actually very small but compare to the plate of mini clay tarts, it
            looks quite big!

Below the photos showed the Happy Birthday done by Michelle and her daughter (10 years old). I can tell that they really have fun and enjoyed the lesson.

Once you have learned this basic lesson one, actually you can start to create your own cakes (simple one)  and pastries.  They designed their own cake and they did  very well for their first time.

This Happy Birthday (1st basic lesson)  is done by a 10 years old girl.  Young children can do
very well if they have patience to sit for at least 2 hours.

Miniature Cupcakes

It is good to look but not good to eat! These miniature cupcakes are made from CLAY!

I love the colours and designs of all cupcakes but I seldom buy them as I do not like to eat cupcake or muffin.

Recently, I had passed by a cake shop I saw some lovely cupcakes inside the showcase. They were so colourful and  temptating! So when I reached home I started to make all these mini cupcakes for myself, just for looking!

some of the cupcakes I will use it as a keychain, so you can find a hook on it.

miniature sliced bread

Look very closely at my handmade miniature/mini sliced bread, what do you see?

You can make this effect  by using special clay(clay that make this effect) but I just added somethings to my normal clay. The most important point is that when you cut it.

You can easily buy these temptating pastries in XXtalk store. I don't really like pastry very much (I prefer cakes) but I enjoy going to this shop and walk one round  to get new inspirations from these pastries. Thanks to all these lovely pastries that make the world so wonderful.
