Miniature doll house

I finished this doll house within 3 days! Quite fast, isn't it? I spent about 5 hrs everyday to make it.
This miniature shop is bigger than ever I did before. I tried some things more difficult, eg to make a wooden drawer for the cupboard. I also used recycleable item to make the show case.

Well, you can make the same shop in a smaller size. At present, I am making an outing party.

The method of this mini "jian tao lou D "  (french bread) is quite similar to the one I did before. Only different is at the both end instead round make it pointed.

Miniature Satay

Do you like satay? I love it! think of the thick gravy with lot of peanuts in it......oh. yummy, yummy....
This is my mini DIY satay with rice and onion.

Sunny Fried Egg (2)

I used a different method to make this miniature sunny egg. Do you like eggs? I love so much.

I am not sure whether you can tell the difference between the 1st egg I made and this one?

Sunny Fried Egg

DIY a mini fried egg especially a clay-made  sunny fried egg is very easy. Below are some of the steps to make a miniature sunny fried egg.

1. Take some white clay and flatten it.
2. Made a shallow  hole in the middle of the white clay
3. Take some yellow clay and round it to a small ball
4. Press the yellow small ball into the shallow part of the white clay.

Isn't it easy? Because it is so easy , so I try to make it in a difficult way and it comes out like.......!!!

Mini Crepe

Here comes my delicious mini crepe. This handmade clay miniature crepe actually is quite simple. All you need is to prepare all your favourite toppings such as kiwi. strawberry, apple, orange, grapes...etc whatever you like, than put them together.

Apples

My daughter likes apples very much but I don't really like it.
 Beside oranges, I think making mini apples are quite simple too. Do you like apples? If you do, make some for yourself. (Green apple is much more easier to make)

My Favourite Dish

These are the gifts that I like to give them to you, hope you like it !
 I have not been making my favourite  dish - mee poh  for quite a long time. Here comes my favourite dish, from big to small. This time I used different tone of green to make  the sheng cai (生菜) ,and add a pair of chopsticks .Which one do you like? I love all!

Mini Fillet-O - Fish

Recently Mcdxxx sold a set of miniature burgers, did you buy them? I bought some of them not all. Here is my handmade  fillet -O-fish. It is much more smaller than the one they sell.

 When I found out fillet does not have sesame on the bread, it is too late to take out (already sticked to the bread)and only double fillet has the veggie.

Miniature Cupcakes

It is good to look but not good to eat! These miniature cupcakes are made from CLAY!

I love the colours and designs of all cupcakes but I seldom buy them as I do not like to eat cupcake or muffin.

Recently, I had passed by a cake shop I saw some lovely cupcakes inside the showcase.They were so colourful and  temptating! So when I reached home I started to make all these mini cupcakes for myself, just for looking!

some of the cupcakes I will use it as a keychain, so you can find a hook on it.

Look very closely at my handmade miniature/mini sliced bread, what do you see?

You can make this effect  by using special clay(clay that make this effect) but I just added somethings to my normal clay. The most important point is that when you cut it.

Mini Pastries

You can easily buy these temptating pastries in XXtalk store. I don't really like pastry very much (I prefer cakes) but I enjoy going to this shop and walk one round  to get new inspirations from these pastries. Thanks to all these lovely pastries that make the world so wonderful.

Miniature Monalisa

Have your ever seen a handmade miniature Monalisa? Below is a handmade 4cm x 5cm miniature monalisa. It was done by a handsome guy who come to my lesson recently. I taught  him to make the frame for the photo of Monalisa.

Miniature Bear

Bear is the first animal that I chosed  when I first try to make animals with paper clay . I like to use paper clay to sculpture figuriens because they are more easier to handle compare to Japanese clay.

I used Japanese clay to make these two miniature bears.

Get the right size of miniature food//cake for them

Her right eye is a bit dirty as I accidently touch it when it is not fully dried yet.( in this case, if you use paper clay , the mark there can be easily clean away,even cracks too)                                                      

Miniature Box

Sometime, I like to place my miniature cakes inside a mini box,  in  order to get the rigth size, you need to make your own box. Below are the simple steps to make a miniature box. If you know the method , you can create different sizes of box.


1. First draw out the outline of the box ( the length depend on the size of the box)

2. Fellow the line and cut out the box. (you can fold it into half and get a center line and cut, so the box will be same even side while cutting) and fold accoording to the line.

3. Design your own box. You can use colour cardboard, wrapping paper or draw some picture on the box, for me I use stickers.

Place your miniature cake or pastry into the box.
