Miniature Basket of Vegetables

Xyi is one of my students, she is young and very knee in learning miniature art and also very good at it.  she learned from the basic , started from a basic simple round cake and now , she can make those miniature food that need more skill .  Below show her recently handmade miniature vegetables. Very nice! Basic skill is very important, if you know the basic skill and technique , you can make almost very thing you want. So be patience , start from the basic is very important.

  I will try my best to teach students who really want to learn , that is why I teach in 1 to 1 basis . (One of my student has become a  part time miniature clay art teacher teaching at some other place. )  I believe that everyone has the potential to become a master and teach others.

Miniature Nonya kueh & Orange Juice

I like nonya kueh and I also like to make miniature nonya kueh as they are so colourful , they always brighten my day when I see them, no matter real or fake one.  Have a plate of colourful and delicious nonya kueh with a glass of orange juice/ice lemon tea to go with.  Hope this also brighten your day!

Miniature pig's ear & duck

This miniature pig's ear and duck is specially made for someone.  the size of the plate is 3.5 cn x 2.5 cm. A very popular Teochew cuisine that you can eat at hawker stall

Add some sauce to the dish and it look so delicious! This is one of the popular  Teochew cuisine among Teochew.

Custom Made Miniature Gift

These  miniature gift set was done in a very short given time, We ( I am and my client) had changed and discussed the ideas  for so many times.  I have finished before time but really very rush!!  All the miniature items  are done separately, one by one and then  paste it on the red frame.

A very unique gift for a special person.  I made all his favourite food and things that he like into miniature size.

Miniature Lady fingers

Miniature clay lady fingers with chilli sambar go with rice, do you like this? this is a custom made order from someone who like this dish so much.  To make the mini lady fingers look real, the hole inside is the main point.

Repair Service

When people come to me and ask whether I can repair their miniature dolls, figurines or even big/live size food models, I will try my best to do for them. Repairing of miniature figurines is not that easy compare to make a new clay model . Below showed  some of the repaired I have done .

Some clay dolls are really badly damage but they insist using them for display, I will try my best to repair, it will not look exactly the same as the colour will differ from the original one and the materials used may also different. It is a great challenge to fix/ repair things  that you never try before !  

Miniature Ice Lemon Tea

Have a  glass of ice lemon tea in a hot day is really very cooling. but my ice lemon tea is not for drinking as they are made of clay/fake water, just for looking. Keep this miniature ice lemon tea at my side all the time, when thirsty just look at it...really can 望梅止渴!

Miniature Bicycles

These are my recently handmade clay miniature bicycle. I took quite a long time to make the first one and repeated many times and finally got the one I like. I have made with and without wire on the wheel, which one do you prefer ?

I have a very special miniature clay food lesson with this couple as I can only communicate with each other by our body language, but I really enjoyed teaching them and have a great fun with them . Thank you!

Miniature chicken feet soup and soy sauce chicken wings

This mini chicken feet soup is special order from a custom made order.  The fake mini chicken fee is so small that it breaks very easily , must be very careful or not, I need to repeat making them all the time. The colour of the miniature soy sauce chicken is depend  on individual, some people like darker colour some don't.

Miniature Heinz Ketchup

This super mini miniature Heinz ketchup bottle was done by request. I found it is so lovely and cute and decided to make another for myself.
